VILNIUS TECH - 23rd Vilnius Book Fair
The 23rd Vilnius Book Fair takes place on 23-26 February at the Lithuanian Exhibition and Congress Centre LITEXPO, where Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VILNIUS TECH) is also participating.
VILNIUS TECH is a long-term participant in the Vilnius Book Fair, establishing the traditions of academic publishing in Lithuania, developing the publishing of technical academic literature, and disseminating the advances of technical sciences in the country. The University brings together ambitious scientists, fosters technical creativity and arts, and uses advanced technologies to address societal challenges.
On the first day of the exhibition, the Rector of VILNIUS TECH, Prof. Dr Romualdas Kliukas, and the Vice-Rector of Science and Innovation, Prof. Dr Dalius Navakauskas, solemnly opened the VILNIUS TECH Academic Technical Literature stand and invited the visitors of the book fair to get acquainted with the publications of the University.
Gloria Borghetti, Cristina Garcia Pozuelo Sanchez and Eva Blake, representatives of the international publisher Taylor & Francis Group, visited the VILNIUS TECH stand during the 23rd Vilnius Book Fair. During the meeting, the traditions of technical academic publishing in Lithuania, the peculiarities of publishing and reading technical academic literature, VILNIUS TECH's scientific and study interests, and the funding issues of electronic and printed information resources were discussed.
