University partners attended VGTU International week
Last week, an international week of the administrative staff of universities took place at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VGTU), the theme of which was "3×C in mobility: Challenges, Changes, Communication". Twenty four foreigners from thirteen different European countries attended the event.
This year, not only the employees of foreign International Relations and Communications Departments, but also the representatives of institutions, coordinating students’ practices, such as the representatives of Italian Ministry of Economic Development, got acquainted with VGTU. Invitations to visit Vilnius have been sent to the national agencies of all European countries, coordinating the MVG/Erasmus programme.
"This week received a huge interest – there were even one hundred and twenty two applicants, so we had to be very careful in choosing the participants. We managed to bring together a team of people with different experiences, really having a lot to tell. I am glad that all expectations were met, and I hope that our quests will come back home with new ideas and try to apply our best practices in their daily activities," - said Sigita Galdikienė, the Coordinator of the International week of administrative staff.
