The summer school of the international project Tempus NETCENG took place at VGTU
On May 11 – 24, Tempus NETCENG summer school took place at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VGTU). This was one of the events of the international study project "New model of the third cycle in engineering education due to Bologna Process in BY, RU, UA“, financed by the European Union (EU). Project Manager – Professor, Habilitated Doctor Pranas Baltrėnas, the Department of Environmental Protection of the Faculty of Environmental Engineering at VGTU.
The representatives from higher education institutions of Ukraine, Russia, Belarus arrived to the summer school of Tempus NETCENG, and the teachers from VGTU, Technical University of Berlin (Germany) and Brunel University London (United Kingdom) delivered lectures to them.
At the event, the participants shared the experiences of the organisation process of the international and doctoral studies and Tempus project implementation. The camp participants had a theoretical course on Mathematical modelling of environmental processes, and participated in workshops, the knowledge of which they will apply at their own universities.
