The number of VGTU partners is growing – VGTU and AIG signed an agreement
Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VGTU) is actively promoting cooperation between higher education institutions and business in the development of research, cultural and educational activities. For this reason, on 14 March, VGTU and AIG (American International Group) Europe Limited, Lithuanian Branch (hereinafter referred to as the AIG) signed the Cooperation Agreement.
VGTU and AIG have agreed on the opportunities to implement joint research and collaborate in the preparation of various projects. AIG is interested to contribute to the activities of the University, and to offer topics of the students’ final works, relevant for the public, to prepare students‘ internships, to cooperate in the development of study programmes, and in organizing students‘ training as well as application of knowledge in the workplace.
AIG is one of the world's largest insurance companies, operating in more than one hundred and thirty countries and jurisdictions. In its service and contact centres, the company has more than eleven thousand employees.
