The international students organized a support event for countries affected by an earthquake
On February 15, VILNIUS TECH international students together with ESN VILNIUS TECH organised a Charity Food Fair to contribute to humanitarian aid for those affected by terrifying earthquakes in Türkiye and Syria. In the form of cultural exchange and presentation of traditional eastern dishes, students reminded of the value of unity and the importance of support in an emergency situation.
Both full-time and Erasmus+ Turkish students contributed from the organizational side to make the event happen with the help from ESN members. The event couldn't happen without the support of Turkish families living in Lithuania, who provided organisers with the traditional dishes of Turkish culture.
The money will be donated to support the earthquake victims in both Türkiye and Syria.
The main organizers were:
Hatice Kubra Kaya - the 1st year full-time student from Turkey
Davud Muradli - the 1st year student from Azerbaijan, Social Projects Manager at ESN VILNIUS TECH
Alika Oraztayeva - a 3rd-year student from Kazakhstan
