Let’s move sustainably by joining the Academic Bicycle Challenge
We invite community members and students of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VILNIUS TECH) to join the Academic Bicycle Challenge. It is an international project created for universities and colleges around the World. The main goal of this challenge is to contribute regarding climate change mitigation through sustainable mobility.
What to do if you want to participate?
Everyone who wants to join the challenge on October 1-31 must choose cycling trips as often as possible and record the cycled kilometers in the free app called Naviki.
This app calculates all recorded trips and provides various rankings for individual participants, teams created by participants, universities and colleges.
After the challenge, we will be able to see who was the most active and uses the bicycle most - biologists, lawyers, doctors or engineers.
The main goal of this project is a good mood, team spirit and the opportunity to move sustainably!
The members of the VILNIUS TECH community who will cycle the most kilometers by bicycle will be awarded with prizes.
More information about the project you can find here.
VILNIUS TECH participates in this project together with other University Alliance partners of ATHENA.
