Join VILNIUS TECH Chess Championship 2023!
We cordially invite you to participate in the upcoming VILNIUS TECH Chess Championship 2023, which is scheduled to take place this Saturday, March 25th, at the Library, starting at 11:00 am. All community members are welcome to participate in this event. The championship presents a fantastic opportunity to spend some quality time with fellow community members while engaging in intellectually stimulating game.
The tournament will follow the Swiss system format, consisting of 9 rounds, and will adhere to the FIDE Rapid Chess Rules. Each move will be timed, with 8 minutes and 4 seconds allowed per move. The tournament will be registered with FIDE, and the participant with the highest score will be declared the winner. The championship will be overseen by a national category arbiter, and the winners will be awarded handmade trophies.
