International Students' Day Greetings
Dear students,
Every year, on the 17th of November, we celebrate the International Students’ Day. It is a celebration of the unity of students’ community. Students from all over the world, irrespective of their country of origin, race or language are part this community. They are ambassadors of knowledge, personal development and higher education.
Students, you are the most active, youthful and creative driving force that can create knowledge society provided with technologies, fight for the ideals, and strive for changes in the country and in higher education.
I am delighted that you, VGTU students, are wise, curious and active not only in an academic environment, but also in numerous creative activities. I wish you to remain this way and to hold on to the hunger to excel further.
Congratulations on the International Students’ Day!
