Guests from Bandung university in Indonesia visited VGTU
Two guests from Bandung Institute of Technology, director of Partnership and International Relations Edwan Kardena and Head for Mobility Programme and Global Education Ayi Rohayati visited VGTU from 15th to 19th of May. While visiting the university they have met our International office Director Mrs. Aušra Pelėdienė, Vice-director Aleksandra Sokolova and Senior Erasmus+ Manager Ieva Bagdonaitė. They also had meetings with Director of Science and Research office assoc. Prof. Dr. Vaidotas Vaišis and Head of Department of Environmental Protection Prof. Dr. Saulius Vasarevičius.
While visiting VGTU Ayi Rohayati also met Vice-Dean and Erasmus+ Coordinator of the Faculty of Fundamental Sciences, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nikolaj Goranin, Vice-Dean and Erasmus+ Coordinator of the Faculty of Electronics, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vaidotas Barzdėnas and Erasmus+ Coordinator of the Faculty of Mechanical, Dr. Rūta Banelienė. Edwan Kardena is an Associate Professor in Environmental Microbiology/Biotechnology and so he had lectures for students in VGTU: Current practice of soil contamination management and clean up in Indonesia, Bioremediation of petroleum hydrocarbon contaminated soil and Microbial application for organic removing from soil and water.
After this visit we believe that our partnership with Bandung university grew even stronger and we decided to continue the international exhange of our staff and students.
