Lecturer Abeykoon Mudiyanselage Harsha Sameera from the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand, visited Faculty of Mechanics at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VGTU).
The guest gave lectures to VGTU students on the topics of robotics and automation, also he presented the latest research on haptics . The representative from the Asian Institute of Technology, who works in a very innovative field of research, noted that people have been capable of successful recording and transmitting of image and sound for centuries; however, technologies are still struggling to capture and transfer the smell, taste and touch.
